South Africa resident, Venicia Guinot, brings a unique understanding of living a tropical lifestyle in an imperfect and often unnatural world.

Venicia has more than 4 years’ experience as a freelance journalist. She founded Tropics Magazine in March 2010, after being confirmed editor of AMINA Magazine, as contributor of numerous web magazines and some of the UNICEF magazines projects in the Republic of Congo. She has written and spoken on topics ranging from society, culture, entertainment, sports, fashion, and music from spiritual design to organic gardening.  Venicia’s journalism career has included reporting and editing positions at The African & American Student Association (CUSAA) at the American Embassy in Brazzaville, Nelson Mandela Foundation Gala Dinner at the Convention Center, Federation of Congolese Women & Children and numerous African Fashion shows as well. A passionate expert on developing vibrant stories that are light on the Black continent land, Venicia has been featured in so many other projects within the media industry She is about to launch her first show on a web radio based in Seattle, Washington called AFRICA'S BEAT!
