Drinking a nice glass of wine can either relax you or unleash a little naughtiness. Chilean vintner Concha y Tora, the largest producer of wine from Latin America, recently introduced its Devil’s Collection consisting of a red and wine wine. The two new wines are additions to its Casillero del Diablo label.
Retailing for $15 a bottle, the wines offer quality and sophistication and pairing not only include food but cool music and hot dance moves too.
The 2013 Devil’s Collection Red is a bold blend of carmenere, cabernet sauvignon and syrah from Chile that gives off notes of black cherry and plum.
The 2013 Devil’s Collection White is from Chile’s Casblanca Valley and described as seductive and youthful. The blend consists of sauvignon blanc, chardonnay and gewürztraminer, a nice balance of flavors for this lemon-yellow proprietary combination.
If you are a fan of Casillero del Diablo wines, these two will not disappoint. Chilean wines in general are truly making a mark in the wine industry. If you haven’t explored the wines from Chile, these are a great entry point and then let the exploration continue from here.
The Devil’s Collection is distributed nationwide and online.
