4 Brunch Spots in Philly to Ease Your Hunger Before the 2017 Made in America Fest

If there’s one thing to know about festivals like Made in America, it’s that you must eat before you go and spend the rest of your day on your feet. Especially in the city of Philadelphia, known for its BYOB Brunch spots, you simply deserve to eat well and divulge in some of your favorite champagne. Made in Ame rica is an annual two-day musical festival presented by Budweiser. Founded by none other than hip hop mogul, Jay-Z, the festival also features popular acts such as J Cole, Solange and Cardi B. A variety of music genres will be present but the fact of the matter is, you’re going to need to fuel up to truly enjoy.

With strict rules on re-entry, you’ll want to stop at any of these following brunch spots before you commit to the festivities. Feel free to jot down the ones you don’t make it to this weekend and save them for your next visit too!

Sabrina’s Cafe

910 Christian St. | Philadelphia, PA 19147

Sabrina’s has multiple locations but that shouldn’t deter you from arriving early at this hot spot to grab a seat. Their stuffed French toast is made only for the hungry and perfect if it’s just you and a friend or two stopping in.

Silk City

435 Spring Garden St | Philadelphia, PA 19123

Silk City has a great outdoor space so you can perfect getting your shrimp and grits drool worthy for Instagram. They offer pitchers of sangria but their painkiller cocktail is a great choice as well.

Jones Restaurant

700 Chestnut St. | Philadelphia, PA 19106

Jones is great if you’re looking for a relaxed vibe but want to bring all of your friends with you. With features like boozy milkshakes and some of the best nachos in Philly, you’ll definitely want to make a reservation.

Miles Table

1620 South St. | Philadelphia, PA 19146

Another BYOB favorite, Miles Table shines through their featured menu which changes daily. Head up to the counter to order, sit where you’d like and pop the cork of the champagne to start the day.

Most importantly, stay hydrated through the day and bring cash so you can try the food vendors featured as well.

Tickets for the event are still available by going to www.madeinamericafest.com. For other delicious places to check out while in Philadelphia, visit http://www.visitphilly.com/restaurants-dining.
