This recipe is a great combination of sugar and spice that is simply delicious. Once tender, the sweet potatoes just melt in your mouth.
Ingredients
4 large fresh orange flesh Yams/Sweet Potatoes, peeled and cut into ¼ inch slices
½ cup water
1 stick of butter or margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar, plus 1 extra cup
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. nutmeg
1 tbsp. vanilla
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
