Next time you are in the mood for some brownies, add a little lime to change the flavor up a little bit. You will be very surprised by the combination.

Ingredients

  • 1 box Betty Crocker's Fudge Brownies*
  • ¼ cup lime juice (in substitution of the water)**
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Per the directions on the box, mix all ingredients together substituting the lime juice for the water.
  3. Bake for 25 – 30 minutes or until done testing with a toothpick
  4. Allow to cool for at least 10 minutes
  5. Serve with whip cream and nuts on top

* Feel free to use what every brand or type of brownies you like.

** For the lime juice, we used Lemon Fresh Lime Juice (www.nzng.com) which is made in New Zealand.
