Pineapple Manganero Sauce

  • 4 cups fresh pineapple
  • 4 cups fresh mango
  • 1 cup mango juice
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 8 habanero peppers
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 ½ lb sugar
  • 1 cup key lime juice


  • Blend fresh pineapple, mango, mango juice, pineapple juice and habanero peppers together.  
  • Melt butter and add sugar and lime juice. Add pineapple and mango mixture. Simmer and reduce mixture slightly. Excellent for buffalo wings or can use as any dipping sauce.

Note: Sauce should not simmer below half the amount in the saucepan, otherwise it will be a little too thick.
