Ripe's Signature Mango Mojito

The Mojito is a popular Cuban cocktail traditionally made with Havana Club rum. However, in typical Ripe fashion, we have "yardified" it by using Jamaican Appleton Rum and mango puree for a true taste of the tropics.

Ingredients

  • ½ lime (quartered)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Ice (crushed or otherwise)
  • 10 fresh spearmint leaves
  • 4 parts Appleton white rum
  • 1 part mango puree
  • Splash or two of club soda

Directions

  1. Muddle fresh mint leaves, sugar and lime in a highball glass.
  2. Fill glass completely with ice. Add rum and mango puree and shake vigorously to combine ingredients.
  3. Top with a splash or two of club soda.
  4. Garnish with a sprig of mint and a maraschino cherry.
