Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw World’s Best Oats™ (Bob recommends steel cut oats)
  • 3 cups water
  • ¼  tsp salt

Preparation

Bring 3 cups of water and ¼ tsp. salt to a boil and add 1 cup of Bob’s Red Mill Steel Cut Oats. Reduce heat to low; cover and cook for 10 – 30 minutes (depending on how chewy you like your cereal). Stir occasionally. Remove from heat and let stand for two minutes. Serves 4.

Tips

Serving suggestions:

  • For just the right combination of sweet, salty and crunchy, Bob adds a little brown sugar, walnuts, cranberries, bananas and flaxseed meal to his oats.
  • Alternative options include adding fresh or dried fruit, raisins, or a dash of cinnamon, or simply cream and or/butter.
