Ingredients
4 to 5 lbs. of chicken wings
4 cups vegetable oil
¼ cup honey
seasoning salt
ground black pepper
salt, if desired
Directions
Chop off the tip of each wing and discard the wing tip. Cut the wing in half (cutting it at the joint) to make 2 pieces. Sprinkle black pepper and salt if desired.
Heat the oil over high heat in a deep skillet until it is approximately 400 degrees.
Add half of the chicken wings and cook until they’re golden and crisp, stirring or shaking occasionally. When done, remove them to drain on paper towels and cook the rest. Place the chicken in a bowl with lid.
Pour honey over and sprinkle seasoning salt over the wings and cover with lid. Shake bowl lightly and serve with carrots or celery and ranch or bleu cheese dressing.
