Impressing a date with a good meal is a great way to close out a night, but you need to pick a good dish. Here are some seafood dishes perfect for a nice date.

When you want to impress a date with a good home-cooked dish, few options are as good as seafood. However, it’s not easy to come up with a good dish if you don’t have experience cooking fish.

Here are a few easy seafood dishes to cook up for your date and leave them satisfied.

Pan-Fired Wild Salmon by All Recipes

This dish is great if you’re new to cooking fish. Start by cleaning two 3-oz salmon fillets with water and drying them with paper towels. Heat a skillet with oil over medium-high heat and season the salmon with salt to taste. Cook the salmon skin-side up until the fish is golden brown. Flip and cook for another five minutes to cook the skin. Finally, remove the skin and fry the fish skin in the skillet until it’s crispy. Your food is now ready to serve.

Grilled Branzino by Bake It With Love

Sprinkle the mixture over the fish and transfer them to the grill, skin side down, on a grill sheet. Grill the fish for three to four minutes, flip it, and grill for another two to three minutes to finish the dish. Finally, you’re ready to serve the fish

Spinach Pesto Israeli Couscous Prawns by My Kitchen Love

Start by boiling four cups of salted water. Add two cups of couscous, covering the pot and reducing the heat for 15 minutes. Gather the following ingredients into a blender, and blend until smooth:

5 ounces spinach
1 cup basil
1/4 cup pine nuts
1 garlic clove
1/4 cup oil
1/2 lemon
1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Pour the mixture onto the fluffed couscous and stir until it’s coated. Mix 14 oz of prawn, a 1/4 cup of oil, and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper flakes in a bowl. Heat it in a large skillet over medium-high heat until pink. Then, top the couscous with the prawns, and you’re ready to serve the food.
