One of our favorite bloggers and recipe developers is set to release her very first cookbook this fall entitled, “GRANDBABY CAKES: Modern Recipes, Vintage Charm, Soulful Memories” published by Agate Publishing.

Adams' rise to becoming a celebrated food blogger was one of an unexpected trajectory.  The Chicago author first started off baking cakes for co-workers and requests turned into a small business which led to a blog and the rest is history.

In her first book, with a foreword by celebrity chef and “The Chew” host Carla Hall, Adams pays homage to the women in her life who have influenced her along the way with their love of baking.  Her grandmother or “Big Momma” was the inventor of “delicious, melt-in-your-mouth” desserts which become the foundation of their family’s heritage and recipes.

Within the 208 pages, Adams shares 50 vintage recipes with a contemporary twist.  There is no disappointment with the recipes that include Sea Salt Caramel Cake, Peach Cobbler Shortcake, Roasted Raspberry Cupcakes and our soon to be a new favorite, Blueberry Pan-Cakelettes.  In addition to the recipes, enjoy getting to know Adams' family with photos and stories to bring it all together.

“GRANDBABY CAKES: Modern Recipes, Vintage Charm, Soulful Memories” is available on Amazon.
