If you are a jam lover who just happens to also love bacon, look no further.  This jam is created just for you. Pennsylvania-based TBJ Gourmet’s Bacon Jam is the perfect sweet and savory combination of uncured bacon, brown sugar, caramelized onions, apple cider vinegar and seasoning.  The best part, it is just a versatile as it is delicious.

Far from being your average jam, the recipe ideas are endless and all it takes is a little imagination.  The sweetness of the jam creates the perfect topping for apples, tarts and even a cupcake. If savory is what your taste buds crave, think about a juicy beef burger or even a dressing with a twist. TBJ Gourmet also goes as far as adding it in place of your favorite pizza sauce and mixing it within your veggies.  Their blog post with ten ways to enjoy the bacon jam is a game-changer.

What I love about this product is the consistency and balance of flavors.  The bacon bits along with the onions add texture that I just love when it comes to jams. Recently while entertaining, I added the jam to my charcuterie board along with a little mustard for the veggies and crackers and it was a hit.  At first, guests were a bit hesitant, but after that first dip, it was the talk of the afternoon.

To tempt you even more, flavor offerings include classic, sweet chili, black pepper, maple bourbon, balsamic fig and honey habanero. I am drooling over here. They also make a spiced tomato jam that is also too die for, as well as two rubs and a finishing salt.

At just $15, this jar of goodness is perfect for upcoming occasions where a little extra flavor will top simple appetizers or dishes over the top. It is also great for everyday pleasures that add a touch of gourmet right in the comfort of your own home.

Available on the TBJ Gourmet website as well as on Amazon, this uncured spreadable bacon jam is just the cure a foodie needs.
