Supporting Our Work
This September, Cuisine Noir is turning 12!
That is 12 years of pioneering conversations that connect the African Diaspora through food, drink and travel. It has been a long but rewarding road as we have been able to bridge individuals, cultures, communities and countries.
In 2020, our response to a pandemic and continued inequity in the media landscape was to create a model that would allow for our supporters to support our work and our global team who are passionate about telling stories that have historically not been told.
Our media non-profit The Global Food and Drink Initiative was founded.
This month, we invite all of you to support our work through a $12 anniversary donation.
You may of course donate more, but with each $12 donation, we can continue sharing, connecting and preserving these important narratives as well as provide additional programming that builds bridges among Pan African people for generations to come.
In appreciation of your generous donation between September 1 – September 30, 2021, you'll receive a complimentary copy* of our upcoming Fall special edition print issue! Yes, that is right. After a four year hiatus, we are excited to return to print for this special issue that will include stories from around the global about survival through the pandemic that you won't be able to find here online. So be sure to make your donation today!
*Must live within Canada or United States (including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the U. S. Virgin Islands) to receive a complimentary hard copy. Donors living in all other countries will receive a digital copy. Copies will be mailed in early October 2021.
Please note The Global Food and Drink Initiative is a 501c3 pending non-profit. Status is expected in October 2021. Once received, our donation will be 100% tax-deductible.
