Supporting Our Work
Amplifying Black Food Stories for 13 Years
Since September 1, 2009, Cuisine Noir has pioneered conversations that connect the African Diaspora through food, drink and travel.
To ensure these important, often untold stories, continue to be front and center in our communities around the world, we launched our multimedia nonprofit, The Global Food and Drink Initiative, in August 2020.
As a media outlet and multimedia nonprofit that is here to serve the community and make sure our contributions are forever sealed in history, support from our readers is very important in doing so.

WHAT is our work and WHY should you support
Our work centers around sharing the rich and amazing stories of Black and African American tastemakers, influencers and game changers in food, drink and travel who are often ignored by mainstream media.
Our work also includes providing tools, resources and educational opportunities for the community, small business owners and the next generation of writers of color, chefs and influencers.
By making a donation, you are helping to make sure Cuisine Noir Magazine and our other media properties can continue amplifying these important stories. Your contributions also help provide programming and events aimed at increasing awareness and exposure.
The Global Food and Drink Initiative is a 501c3 nonprofit. All charitable donations are 100% tax-deductible.
