Nicholas B. Carr

Nick is an aspiring chef and avid writer who graduated from Johnson & Wales University with a bachelor’s degree in culinary arts. He always knew that he wanted to become a chef, but he only recently discovered his passion for writing. Nick is excited about the opportunity to uplift and empower the Black Diaspora through stories about food. Black cuisines are underrepresented in the culinary world, so he hopes to shine a light on these rich cultures using his knowledge of the restaurant industry. He also loves to travel and be immersed in other cultures, so he feels that food journalism is a great way to connect all his passions.
