If you haven’t had a cocktail like this before then, yes, it is a little different. This cocktail by Adrian Lindsay celebrates his love of shiso and the flavor profile it adds to his drinks.
INGREDIENTS
1.5 ounces HH Bespoke Rum
1 ounce key lime juice
.75 ounce simple syrup
4 shiso leaves
lime wedge
PREPARATION
1. Muddle shiso leaves and add lime juice and simple syrup. Shake with rum and double strain. Serve up or with ice. Add lime wedge for garnish.
TIPS & NOTES
1. Shiso leaves can be found at your local Asian food market. You can also substitute them for mint or basil.
